CLG Naomh Ultan wish to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jack Furey, Brenter on his recent passing.

Jack's association with Naomh Ultan began at the club's foundation and he served as chairman of the club for a number of years as well as secretary. He would have been most prominently known as a referee throughout the county, having officiated games all around Donegal, most notably the Donegal Senior County Championship final in 1980 and at inter-county level in the Dr McKenna Cup final in 1988.

The family and extended family's deep roots to Naomh Ultan continued with his children and grandchildren, namely Sean and Adrian who had very successful playing careers at the club, winning numerous championships and his daughter, Donna who has served as the club's treasurer for the past few years.
He will be sorely missed by all.

There will be a guard of honour occurring today, Saturday, May 4th at Páirc Naomh Ultan at 1:30pm as the remains pass the pitch to the wake house, and also at the gates of the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless before the funeral mass on Monday, May 6th at 11am.
Attendees are kindly requested to wear the club's colours as a mark of respect. Please help spread this message among fellow members of the community, thank you.
