CLG Naomh Ultan are delighted to announce that weโll be joined by Dearbhla OโMoore, CORU Registered Dietitian on Saturday, November 1st at 12pm for an informative and practical workshop - โFuelling for Sportโ.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Programme, and in co-ordination with our Coaching Officers, this session is open not only to players and their parents/guardians, but to all club members.

โ Walking Track Facilities Open โ
We are pleased to announce that our Walking Track Facilities at Pรกirc Naomh Ultan are open!
The recent redevelopment works have now reached their latest stage, and the track is once again safe and ready for use by our members.

Re-Turn bins are available within our club grounds, providing an easy way for everyone in the community to contribute. This initiative not only helps reduce litter and protect our environment but also raises valuable funds for the club.

CLG Naomh Ultan are providing our members and community an opportunity to take part in a Boot Swap. Do you have any football boots that no longer fit? Would you like to swap them for a bigger size?
We're still actively collecting boots at the clubhouse, let us know if you'd like to drop in a pair!
๐ 2026 Donegal LGFA Minor Development ๐
The 2026 Donegal LGFA Minor Development programme will commence on November 1st, 2005 and ultimately the Donegal Minor Team will be picked from this development program at the beginning of 2026.
Due to the anticipated high numbers that may attend, they will be splitting the groups up with one session held on a Saturday and another session on a Wednesday evening. Further details will be provided in relation to this.
If your child is seeking to take part, please make contact with our LGFA secretary, Amy Shovlin at naomhultandunkineely.donegal@lgfa.ie before end of day this Thursday, October 16th. Only girls born in 2008 & 2009 are eligible.
๐ฐPeil na mBan 2025/2026 ๐ฐ
The first draw for the 2025/26 Peil na mBan draw will take place at the Donegal LGFA County Board meeting next Monday, October 20th.
There are two options to sign up: Option 1 - Sign up for the year as a one off payment of โฌ220 (this will get you entered into the 12 draws for the price of 11) Option 2 - Sign up and pay โฌ20 monthly total for the year will be โฌ240
For every club that has five members signed up the club will be entered into a monthly draw for a minimum of โฌ100. Clubs are only entered into this draw once they have 5 members paid up or tickets bought by the club themselves.
To sign up to the draw there is a number of options available: - Click on the following link and choose your preferred option of payment: https://hub.klubfunder.com/DonegalLgfa/payit/all-fundraisers - Complete the form above and return it to treasurer.donegal@lgfa.ie. Only completed forms returned and payment made as per below will be entered into the draw. - Set Up you Standing Order to the account below with your name: Please include your full name when setting up the standing order
- Cash entries available by Contacting a member of the Executive and pay โฌ20 a month by the first Friday of the month to the executive member. - You can Revolut your yearly/monthly Subscription to @donegallgfa
a) Payment must be received by prior to the monthly meeting in order to be included in that monthly draw for that month. Entries after this time will not be included for that particular draw. b) Clubs that have 5 or more fully paid up members will be entered into a separate club draw. c) Draw to take place at each county board meeting from September 2024 with a prize fund of up to โฌ1,000 on offer. d) An additional draw will be made at the county convention in November with additional prizes on offer. e) Final decision of the county executive is final.
๐ 2026 Gaelic4Girls Programme ๐
Gaelic4Girls, sponsored by Glenveagh Homes, is a 10-week programme incorporating coaching sessions with fun non-competitive blitzes aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football. The programme targets girls aged between 7-12 years who are not currently registered with a Ladies Gaelic Football club. In essence, this is a tool to attract new players.
Gaelic4Teens, sponsored by ZuCar, is a coach education based initiative, incorporating fun coaching sessions, coach education webinars, in-person coaching events, club coaching observations visits and a Festival Day, aimed at improving the retention rate of teenage girls aged 13-17 years in clubs which is usually subject to an increased level of dropout.
