#OneGoodClub -

We are delighted that we have successfully completed the 5 steps of our #OneGoodClub youth mental health program and have now received our official accreditation!

Naomh Ultan LGFA were selected to represent our county and participate in this programme which commenced in March and ran for 10 weeks. The 5 themes of the programme were based on Jigsaw's ‘5-a-day for your mental health’ framework which provide a simple set of evidence-based actions for people to improve their wellbeing.

A huge well done to all involved, who helped make this programme a success.
Thanks also to our LGFA girls who helped in the final design and selection of these Jerseys (amazing work!), and for their sponsorship by Lidl Ireland #OneGoodClub.

Maith sibh go léir. Táimíd an- bhródúil asaibh go léir.
Leanaigí ar aghaidh.

Ground & Facility Development Update - June 2023

Our Development Committee have been in the process of selecting contractors for the development of our Walking Track Facilities, an oncoming development as part of our overall Ground & Facility Development funded by our Sports Capital grant allocation received last year.

Peter McFarlane, Danny Byrne, Damien McCallig, Roger Meehan, Martin Shovlin and Alan Lyons are part of the development committee and have worked in conjunction with the park committee and a past member of the club's committee, Ross Carr.

In getting to this point it has been an ongoing project for almost four years, with designs, meetings, applications and meeting government officials. It will be the biggest development for the club since first beginning the development our training pitch facilities in 2019. We will continue to relay on support of our community for further fundraising to keep developing our club.

All contracts have now been signed with a start date of July 2023, completion date is due to be September 2023.

Contractors who are carrying out the works are:
- A&C Quarries Ltd (Albert Boyd)
- Dun Na Cealla Electrics Ltd (Patrick Breslin)

The fence suppliers are The Fencing People, all local Donegal companies. Photographed below are both contractors after signing the work contracts with our Development committee.
